1941 - 2010
WILSON- Patricia Ellen (Hankis) Wilson, age 68, passed away Saturday, March 27, 2010 at Metron of Greenville. She was born October 12, 1941 in Greenville, the daughter of Raymond Frederick and Helen Marie (Powell) Hankis. Pat retired from Electrolux after almost 28 years of employment. She was known as a mother to all, helping her children and her children's friends whenever they needed it. She will be deeply missed, especially by her children, Timothy (Amy) Hankis of Greenville and Hope (Mark) Engelsman of Lakeview; grandchildren, Jennifer and Timothy Hemminger and Tanner Engelsman; sister, Janice (Don) Giles of Florida; special nephew, Chris Hankis of Ionia; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Gary Hankis. A memorial service celebrating Pat's life will be held Saturday at 1:00 PM at the Hurst Funeral Home, Greenville, with Rev. Ken Harger officiating. Private inurnment will be in Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Belding. Memorial contributions in her honor may be given to the Greenville Lions Club.
