1921 - 2010
 Margery M. Goodwin age 88 of Cedar Springs passed away Saturday September 25, 2010 at Spectrum Health United in Greenville. She was born in Greenville December 22 1921 the daughter of Clemen and Estella Olsen Van Vlerah. Margery was employed for 25 years at the former McClennans 5 and 10 store in Greenville, attended Oakfield Baptist Church and enjoyed camping, family activities, crossword puzzles and playing cards.
She married Kenneth G. Goodwin in Stanton MI on November 22, 1937. After over 58 years of marriage he passed away in 1995. Also preceding her in death was a child Sharon in 1944, son Gordon in 2008, grandson Gregory J. Goodwin in 1997, great great grandson Korben Lukas Waldron in 2010, her sister Elaine Barger in 2004 and son in law Louis Russell in 2006.
She is survived by her children; Phyllis Russell of Cedar Springs, Helen and Delos Neilsen of Gowen, Floyd and Vicki Goodwin of Ionia, Jerry and Marlene Goodwin of Sanford, Linda and Russ Varney of Greenville, 26 grandchildren, 64 great grandchildren, 35 great great grandchildren, her brother and sisters; Robert and Joyce VanVlerah , Sue and Hugh Bristol, Rose Burtt, Carolyn Kelley, Edith Haines and Anna Sisson, daughter in law Diane Goodwin and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral and committal services will be held on Wednesday September 29, 2010 at 1 PM from Hurst Funeral Home with Pastor Cliff Owens officiating. Burial will be in West Montcalm Cemetery, Greenville. Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to Oakfield Baptist Church

My prayers are with all of Marge's family. She was a great lady. Marge was a great co-worker. I can honestly say that I never heard her or Kenny say anything bad about anyone. I am sure she has been reunited with Kenny, and is receiving her rewards in heaven
