I ironically fell upon this news....and have a heavy heart. I have fond memories of Aunt Barb. Although years, miles and family members (who passed before her), separated us; she always attempted to stay in contact with me. "After all".....she would say "you're a "COAN"! Rest in Peace.

Heaven is a little brighter........
She was a real "AUNT" to more than just we relatives, always the caretaker, the nurse never left her basic makeup. We have all become better individual's because of our time with her.
You will be missed and always alive with us.....Neila & Daniel Bird......Belding & Florida

What a blessing it has been to know Barbara & Connie over the past six years in Fort Myers. Barbara was always such a joy to talk with. She always had such a positive additude, and she loved the Lord. I'm glad that she was able to get back to MI to spend the past few months close to her family. Our love and prayers for all the family and Connie.
Blessings,
Joyce

My condolences for the loss. While I never met Barbara, I am related to her husband Bill (Willard E. Fischer, died 1946).
Family and friends may appreciate this photo from before 1946:

And some paper clippings from her wedding:

I wish I could have shared some of the pictures etc I have on his life. Rest in peace.

What a blessing to have known Barb. She was a beautiful Christian lady and a great friend. She went across country with myself and 2 other friends and what a fun time we had with her. I shall never forget the trip or Barb. We were neighbors in Florida for about 20 years and that was a real joy. Love to all the family and Connie. Bertie
