I am Bob Willard's granddaughter and just wanted to stop in to express my condolences to the family. Aunt Genevieve was an awesome woman...a true lady. She was sharp as a tack and lived such a fantastic and long life. We have been to her barn parties and have had so much fun with the family there, and my favorite times have been just chatting with her. God bless!

I want the Barnes family to know that my thoughts have been with you since I heard Grandma had taken a turn for the worse. She is a grand lady. I loved her the first time I met her some 45 years ago. She accepted me into the family and I felt welcome . I will always hold all of you in my heart as I do Grandma.

So sorry to see that Genevieve has passed. She is in a much better place now. I am Cleo Willards sister-in-law and visted with Genevieve when my husband ( Donald ) was there at Metron of Greenville. She was such a sweet lady. I could not get over how sharp her mind was for her age. She was a real sweetheart to all who came in contact with her. When I stopped to see her and tell her that my husband had passed away, she asked,"why wasn't it me who went??" It wasn't her time yet, I told her. She thought it was way past her time. Just keep in mind that she is rejoycing with Jesus now. May God bless you and ease your pain at this time..

Mom and Dad, it is with the deepest of sympathy and a heavy heart I write this. I would give anything to be home but I have to go in the hospital 3 days after the funeral and my surgeon won't allow me to travel. Ginny was so LOVED and ADMIRED by us all. She was an amazing lady. The only comfort is she is now at the hand of the father, sipping tea and relaxing with Claude. God Bless all of you, and I send all my love. Sincerely - Craig, Sean, Aaron, Caleb & Madisyn Jones

We both remember your mother. I first met her when I was a student at Walnut school and was chosen to be a "helper" in the kitchen. Your mother made wonderful smells come down those hallways. Then we remember your parents as faithful members of the UMC when we atteded after our marriage. She was a wonderful lady, so kind to everyone. Our prayers are lifted for your family.
