 Robert Lawrence Jensen age 90 of Greenville died Saturday January 22, 2011 at Spectrum Health United Memorial Hospital, Greenville. He was born near Trufant on April 2 1920 the son of Lars Peter and Amy Paulsen Jensen and graduated from the Coral High School. He was a farmer for 27 years and worked at Federal Mogul for 33 years retiring in 1980. He was a veteran of the US Army Infantry in WW II and was a member of the VFW Post in Lakeview and the American Legion Post 101 in Greenville. He married Virginia L. Shepard in Greenville on April 2, 1948. She preceded him in death on July 27, 2005. His sister Catherine M. Stout also preceded him in death.
He is survived by his son Larry (Barb) Jensen of Greenville and daughter Christina (Douglas) Schofield of Crystal and his grandchildren; Jennifer Tipton, Justin Hewitt and Amy ( Justin) Nichols and two great grandchildren. No funeral services will be held and burial will be in Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Belding. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association or the American Lung Associati |
