Take comfort in knowing that your dad is at home with the angels in the arms of God. You will see him again. If you could see him now, he's walking straight and tall. No more pain, no more sadness, he's seen the face of God.

I was born and raised in Stanton and my parents knew Jim Jeffries very well. I grew up with his daughter's Kelly and Dana. I will remember his smile and his laughter. No matter where or when you ran across Jim he was always gracious and extremely happy to stop and take the time to visit with you. He always asked me about my life and how my parents were doing. My prayers are for his girls during this difficult time.

I have fond memories of James Jeffries. James had his insurance with us at Melton McFadden Insurance Agency. He would come to pay his bill and share numerous stories of his Navy days. James was always smiling and jokingly threaning to "Beat me up" if I didn't make the right change! We would always pretend to spar and punch at each other! I will miss him. Bruce Bolthouse
