Edna Mae (Hyzer) Tucker, 99, passed away peacefully at her home in Greenville on Tuesday, Feb.8, 2011. Edna was lovingly cared for by her family, friends and Great Lakes Hospice.
Edna was born to William and Nettie Hyzer on July 25, 1911, in Saginaw.
She married Ralph E. Tucker on Dec. 5, 1929 in Flint. Ralph and Edna graduated from Bad Axe High School and lived in several places during their almost 60 years of marriage. They retired from the grocery business in 1972 and spent their retirement years in Arizona until Ralph's death in 1989.
She is survived by her sons, Ralph (Barb) Tucker of Saginaw, Delbert (Suzanne) Tucker of Greenville; daughter, Marlys (Darwin) Noah of Sidney; grandchildren, Mark Tucker, Craig (Laura) Tucker, Nancy Ann (Ray) Mottura, Karen Sines, Nancy Kay (Dave) Stone, Sandra Bouck, Jeff (Sally) Tucker, Leann (Dan) Wilder, Lyn (Bill) Arons, Tom (Beth) Hallock, Ty (Jen) Hallock,; 25 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
A Memorial service will be held at a later date.
