1933 - 2011
Charles W. Linebaugh, age 77, of Trufant, died Wednesday morning, March 16, 2011 at Spectrum Health United Memorial Hospital in Greenville. He was born November 1, 1933, the son of George and Cecilia Linebaugh. On April 6, 1955, he married the former Anna Olmstead in Angola, IN. They eventually moved to Trufant, where they lived together for the past 46 years. He retired from Sparta Foundry after 26 years of employment. His real love, though, was farming, and he especially enjoyed working at County Line Farms, which he did for over 40 years. He was an avid collector of Minneapolis-Moline tractors, and participated in tractor pulls regularly. He was a fun-loving man who loved to joke around, and will be deeply missed, especially by his loving wife of almost 56 years, Anna; children, Gloria (Terry) Moore of Gowen and Alan Linebaugh (Debbie Juarez) of Greenville; grandchildren, Kevin (Tosha) Moore, Holly (Joshua) Vermeulen, Ryan Linebaugh, and Kerina Linebaugh, all of Greenville; great-grandchildren, Kailyn Moore, Skylar Vermeulen, Bryce Moore, and Mya Juarez; brothers and sisters, William (Norma) Linebaugh of Greenville, Wanda (Oscar) Paulson of Greenville, Shirley Downer of Belding, Delbert (Karen) Linebaugh of Belding, and Leonard (Jennie) Linebaugh of Greenville; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, John (Lila) Olmstead of Trufant, Helen Bannen of Comstock Park, and Jean (John) Nielsen of Trufant; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services including committal will be held Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Spencer Mills Church (12710 17 Mile Rd., Gowen), with Rev. Alan Flowers officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Hurst Funeral Home, Greenville.

To the family of Chuck Limebaugh,
My Mother and Father knew Chuck when he worked at the foundry and also thru the credit union, and my husband Bob Garlick knew most of the family. He was a super person and my "deepest sympathy goes out to the family".

Although I've only seen Charlie a couple of times since his retirement, I can look back at the 20 or so years that I worked with him at the Foundry. What a great man he was. Very quiet and always had a smile. We spent alot of time telling stories. He will be missed. My prayers go out to the Family. Jim
