Mr. Doan Bryce Moore, age 68, died Friday evening, April 8, 2011 at his home in Gowen. He was born May 18, 1942 in Cass City, the son of Clifford and Mercedes (Bitterling) Moore. On October 25, 1969, he married the former Fae Ann Bumpus. Doan was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He loved woodworking and furniture making. He especially enjoyed working with his son and grandson in their landscaping business. He will be missed, especially by his loving wife, Fae; children, Cynthia (Anthony) Pisano, Terry (Gloria) Moore of Gowen, Barry (Marcie) Moore of Kentucky, and Melissa (Scott) Stebbins of Stanton; grandchildren, Kevin (Tosha) Moore of Greenville, Holly (Joshua) Vermeulen of Greenville, Courtney, Brittany, and Steven Moore, all of Kentucky, and Anthony III, Michael, and Jennifer Pisano; great-grandchildren, Kailyn Moore, Skylar Vermeulen, and Bryce Moore; siblings, Wilford (Doris) Moore of Indiana and Joanna (Ken) Ryan of Albuquerque, New Mexico; mother-in-law, Shirley Bumpus of Fife Lake; and brother-in-law, Jerry (Carol) Fries of Greenville. Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the Spencer Mills Church (12710 17 Mile Rd., Gowen), with Rev. Alan Flowers officiating. Memorial contributions in Doan's honor may be given to the American Cancer Society or Spectrum Health Hospice.
