I knew your father many many years ago. He brightened my childhood. One of my very earliest memories - he picked me up and I told him I was going to marry him, I was around 3.
I've thought of him often through the years.

Julie and Elena,
I was just visiting the website to view information about Linda Evans, a close friend of my mom's. My mom just passed away unexpectedly three weeks ago, and then Linda passed. I see your father-in-law (and, Elena, your grandpa) passed away. We are SO sorry for your loss. May peace be with you all through this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Danell Merren and family

For the Family of Dr. Merchun, my sincere condolences. You may remember me, because we lived down the road from each other on M57. And, I used to babysit with at least 2-3 of the children. I enjoyed knowing all of you, and you were so kind to my parents, Ken and Elizabeth Wheeler. May God's Peace be with you all during this time of grief.

I remember Dr. Merchun from when I worked at the hospital in the co-op program in the 1960's. I am also a member of St. Charles Parish. I never saw Dr. Merchun without a smile on his face and a friendly greeting for everyone he met. May God bless you his family who knew and loved him best.I will keep all of you in my prayers.
