Lowry girls and extended family, I just got back into Michigan, was saddened by the news of Barb's passing and too late to attend the service. Celebrate her life with a smile and some fond memories.
May the Lord continue to provide strength and comfort for all of you.
Heaven rejoices at her arrival....and the Lord comforts us all left on earth.

Mary, Chris, Julie, Kent & families: So sorry to hear about your mom/grandma. She was a sweet wonderful lady who loved her family very much. I enjoyed our visits when she came in to have her hair done. She had many stories to share about all of you. She always had a smile on her face. What great memories you all will have to help you through this time. My prayers to all of you. I will miss her.
Blessings, Barb

When our kids were little and Ed was working in Howell your mom encouraged me to pack up the little ones and head down there and stay with him Mon thru Fri. I was the best thing I could have done!!
We had many talks on the phone at that time.

Chris, Mary, Julie, Kent, and families:
I was so sorry to learn of the loss of your special mother, Barbara. I liked her the moment I met her.
She was always so warm and kind.
I know she was a wonderful and loving mother to her daughters, Chris, Mary, Julie & Cindy, like a mother to her son-in-laws, and a supportive and loving grandmother. I know she will be greatly missed.
You are all in my prayers.

I was sad to learn of Barb's passing. She was gracious, fashionable, creative, and funny and she loved her girls! I remember fun times with Cindy at the Washington Street house. in later years I spotted them at the various gyms and fields in Alma. Barb and Ralph have left a legacy of wonderful family members. I am thinking of you all.

Mary, Julie and Chris, my prayers go out to all of you. I am smiling thinking about how happy Aunt Barb must be in heaven with family and friends. I know she is watching over all of you and will be able to share in your life always. She and mom were best of friends and I am sure they are catching up on old times over coffee or a cocktail or two. There are so many great memories with your family that I couldn't even begin to pick the one that stands out the most. Just the strong supportive friendship our parents had with each other means the most to me. I am thankful to have had Aunt Barb's guiding hand along the way. Peace and happy memories to you all.

Chris, Mary and Julie,
You are all in my thoughts and prayers now as you go through these tough times. Your mom, my Aunt Barb, was one of the most wonderful women I've ever known. She and my mom sure shared more great times than we'll ever know. The memories are sacred as I think back on the years at your house with you all. You mom was like another mom to me and so many. I miss you all and wish so much that I could be in Greenville to hug you and shed a few tears with you. I'm in Idaho now so I'm afraid I won't be able to do that. Please know that I'm there in spirit as you celebrate your mom's wonderful, loving, meaningful life. My heart is with you all!
love always,
Mary Ann
