Lynn and I spent our entire childhood and a good part of our adult life together. We drifted apart as our lives changed. He was a loyal friend and had a great sense of humor. We shared so much. I cannot perceive the world without him. I will miss him immensely. Thanks for sharing time on the phone Shirley. Nancy cried when I called her in Sweden. The best to you, the kids and extended family.

Lynn Leroy Bard age 64 of Greenville passed away Saturday June 25, 2011 at Spectrum Health United Rehab and Nursing Center in Greenville. He was born in Greenville September 27, 1946 the son of Roy and Norma Foster Bard. Lynn graduated in 1965 from Greenville High School and attended college before serving in the US Army deploying to Viet Nam. He was a member of the Ray I. Booth American Legion Post # 101 in Greenville and the Lester J. Sitts VFW Post # 5065 in Sheridan. He was the former co owner of Reliable Hardware in Greenville and retired from Consumers Energy Company. He also was a member of the Utility Workers Union of America Local # 261 where he served as a trustee. He married Shirley L. Groom on June 21, 1969.
