He was extremely hardworking, and had most recently been employed as a technician at Office Depot, a job he excelled at. He also served as a counselor at Lifeline Camps, leading worship and playing the guitar. He loved animals and loved his car, a 1984 Pontiac Fiero. Ethan had a way of making everybody feel comfortable and loved, and will be greatly missed, especially by his mother, Judy Imhoff; father, Patrick Imhoff; brother, Maxwell; sisters, Amber, Ariana, and Elise; grandparents, Fred and Helen Zomerhuis, Robert and Beverly Imhoff, and MAGI; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Memorial services will be held Friday, August 19, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Church (12501 Montcalm Ave. NE, Greenville). Private burial will be in Spencer Mills Cemetery. Ethan's pastor, the Rev. R. Mark Shaw, will serve as officiant. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Hurst Funeral Home. Oh My Goodness... Just read my previous message. I DID NOT mean to say "HIS more mature woman", I meant "THIS" more mature woman. My apologies. Ethan.... Rest in Peace now. You will be a great loss to so many.

To Ethan's Mother/family. I just spoke with Ethan's mother yesterday and just then learned of his passing. I didn't know him for long, but he was certainly a very personable young man to his "more mature" woman. He sold me my computer and was such a professional young man. He helped me more than I could ask for. I will miss him stopping by to just say hello. What a treasure. To his mother.... thank you for your kindness on the phone. I want you to know how very much he spoke of you with so much LOVE. Special thoughts, Vicki Bless you all and may God carry you through this difficult time.

Praying for all who are in this storm of life. I pray that we all allow the Spirit to carry us into the eye of this storm, into the presence of God. God is with all of us in this dark storm, He is sitting in the darkness and asking us to "Come and sit with Him". God is wanting us to sit with Him and draw near to Him and know Him more. Praying that the Holy Spirit carries you today.

I can't imagine the pain of losing a child, however I do understand the pain of losing a loved one as I just lost my father last year. I would say to those who mourn... look upon each day that comes as a challenge, as a test of courage. The pain will come in waves, some days worse than others, for no apparent reason. Accept the pain. Do not suppress it. Never attempt to hide grief. There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness, but of power. They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues. They are messengers of overwhelming grief...and unspeakable love. With all our deepest sympathy and condolences, Mike & Jennifer Sicilia Makayla Dentis
