Frances Elaine DelpFrances Elaine Delp age 90 of Greenville passed away Saturday September 17, 2011 from injuries in an auto crash. She was born in Greenville the daughter of Keith E. and Marguerite Westcott Kipp. Fran was a graduate of Greenville High School in 1939 and on December 30, 1941 she was married to William J. Delp at her parents home on Clay Street. She has been a member of the First United Methodist Church since 1933, also the Hypathia Club, Washington Club, Craft and Culture Club and was a bridge player and a Friend of the Belding Library.

She is survived by her husband of almost 70 years, Bill, their daughter Gretchen (James) Wood of Greenville, son Michael (Claudia) Delp of Interlochen, grand children, Deborah McCloud, Brian (Lisa) Wood, Jenny (Jason) Sailor, Jaime Delp, 7 great grandchildren, sister Louise (John) Harper of Greenville, brother-in-law Robert Delp of Lansing and sister-in-law Dorothy Delp of the Lansing area.

She was preceded in death by her brother Stuart Kipp and her sister Gretchen Kipp.

Memorial services will be held 11 AM on Friday October 28, 2011 at First United Methodist Church in Greenville. Burial will be held with the family at Forest Home Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be given to Greenville 1st United Methodist Church, Fighting Falcon Military Museum or the Alva N. Belding Memorial Library.
