1960 - 2011
 Mr. Howard Pierce Blazo III, age 50, of Cowden Lake, died Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids. He was born October 24, 1960 in Flint, the son of Howard Pierce Blazo, Jr. and Theresa (Calvelli) Blazo. On April 17, 1982, he married Karen K. Terryn in Custer. Howard was a Project Manager for GE Aviation (Smith Aerospace). He was a loving husband, father, son, and brother, and will be greatly missed, especially by his wife of 29 years, Karen; son, Anthony; father, Howard Blazo, Jr. of Lapeer; parents-in-law, Gordon and Donna Terryn of Scottville; siblings, Virginia (Randy) Laur of Fenton, Michael (Dee) Blazo of Metamora, Josie (Charles) Hyde of Attica, Barbara (Darrell) Daenzer of Tawas City, Angie (Brian) Carpenter of East Lansing, Louis (Star) Blazo of Attica, and Cathy (Ron) Logan of Lapeer; siblings-in-law, Ken (Nancy) Terryn of Pentwater and Susan (Rick) Deering of Ludington; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Christ the King Catholic Church in Howard City, Rev. James Wyse celebrant. Visitation will be Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Hurst Funeral Home, Greenville. Memorial contributions may be given to the Lakeview Band Boosters. |

Goodbye Friend. Condolences to Karen and Anthony and the entire Blazo/Terryn family. Howard was a great friend, kind hearted and a damn excellent golfer. Many great memories at the lake ice fishing, lake association outings and fireworks on the 4th of July. You will be sadly missed.
