I am so sorry with the loss of your mother and grandmother. She was a wonderful person. I have alot of great memories of her, my sister Joetta and my sister Sandy. Arletta kept us laughing most of the time! She will be sadly missed.

So sorry to hear of the loss of Arletta. She was a wonderful lady and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her. I will miss waiting on her as she came in weekly to Applebee's. Just talked to her last week when she was in and was stunned when I opened up the Daily News this afternoon and read that her funeral was today! My thoughts and prayers are with her daughter Michelle (who I worked for at Candlestone Inn.)and her family.

I am going to miss Arletta very much. She was first my MK lady and quickly became a dear friend. She provided me with skin care for over thirty years. She also provided me with many, laughs, lots of card games and hours of conversation. My thoughts and prayers to all of her family and many friend.

I am so thankful for having known Arletta. She was a wonderful, caring lady with an amazing sense of humor. I will miss her. She always made me smile and I loved her laugh. She was such a good friend to my mom and for that I will always be grateful. The two of them have helped each other through some pretty difficult times the last several years and I know my mom is feeling as though she has lost a sister. Arletta has been a part of our lives since we were born so my sisters and I referred to her as "Aunt Arletta", she was a great aunt. My heart goes out to her family as I know they were a big part of her life, she loved them and cherished her times with them. I am sorry for your loss.

I would like to express my deepest condolences to Arletta's family. She was a wonderful lady whom I will always have the fondest memories of. Arletta was a dear friend of my Mom, Joetta, and also my friend. I remember wonderful times of her and Mom while growing up, in the kitchen of our home talking and laughing together. She was a beautiful lady with a great sense of humor. I will miss her. My heart goes out to Michelle, Jeff, Leslie, and Joe. I hope you can find some comfort knowing that your Mom had a positive impact on all of us who knew her.

Arletta Eveline Groves age 71 of Greenville died Wednesday October 12, 2011 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus Grand Rapids. She was born in Grand Rapids November 17 1939 the daughter of George and Beatrice Blair Anderson. Arletta was a sales director for Mary Kay Cosmetics and enjoyed golf, reading, games with family and was an avid sports fan. She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church and a loving Mom and Grandma. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert C. Groves in 2004 and also a granddaughter Erin.
