Dear Mike, George, Ruth Ellen, Cindy, Jean, Joe, Joyce, and John and especially Belva, It is the morning of Friday the 9th and I just recieved a call advising me of Jack's death. I am so very sorry. I wish I had known earlier so I could be there now. I have had the fortune of knowing many farm boys, farmers, soldiers, cops, and pilots during my life but I have never known anyone I respected more than Jack. He and Belva raised a family to be absolutely proud of. They both deserve an Atta Boy! WELL DONE!! And, Belva, you are so special that I could not describe it in words on this card. I know that your wonderful family will be there for you now and forever. CARRY ON! LOVE, Bruce, Jan, Dann, Matt, and Brian Wheeler

Dear Jean and Family, I know you much you loved your dad. When you spoke of him it was always with great pride, respect and love. I did not know him well but I remember a twinkle in his eyes when he looked at you and could tell he had a good sense of fun. It is never easy to lose a parent. As a son of the King, he is now in the palace! Love, Perk xox

My thoughts and prayers are with your dear family. You'd be surprised how often I remember Mr. Stout's demonstrations of maple syruping. He made it such a wonderful learning experience. May you and your family be comforted by God's eternal promises!

I can't see maple syrup without thinking of how Jack let us kids watch him cook that sap down, and best of all, drink a cupful of that yummy syrup. May you hold each other close during this difficult time. Prayers for all. Kathy Blumberg Wade
