1915 - 2012
Mrs. Margaret Marie Willison, age 96, passed away Monday, April 30, 2012 at Metron of Greenville. She was born August 18, 1915 in Cato Township, the daughter of Thomas and Edith (Wilson) Taylor. She was a nearly lifelong resident of Cato Township, Lakeview, helping her husband Kenneth on the Willison family farm. She was a wonderful farm wife, a fact she took great pride in. She was a longtime member of the Lakeview Free Methodist Church, and truly enjoyed church and Sunday school. She was a private person who loved parades, gardening, and growing house plants. She enjoyed baking her own bread and always had a homemade cookie to give away. She was a member of the Red Hat Society. She also enjoyed family reunions and the company of good friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kenneth, in 1984. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Velma Taylor, Mildred Backman, Vera Marsh, and Marian Ingersoll. She is survived by her special niece, Linda Marsh, and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, May 4, 2012 at the Lakeview Free Methodist Church, with visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the funeral. Margaret's minister, Pastor Ted Johnson, will serve as officiant. Interment will be in West Pine Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the Lakeview Free Methodist Church.
