1929 - 2012
Philip J. Chrzan retired GM Plant Executive, age 82 of Greenville formerly of Tecumseh, Adrian and Gladwin passed away at his home in Greenville on May 7, 2012. He was born in Detroit on July 19, 1929 the son of Philip J. and Louise A. Peer Chrzan and served in the US Army in the Military Police during the Korean conflict. Mr. Chrzan worked for General Motors for nearly 35 years retiring in 1986. He was a member of the General Motors Speakers Bureau, a member of the GM Public affairs committee in Tecumseh Adrian area. He was also a member of the Lenawee County Management Association and he served as the chairman of the Lenape District sustaining membership program of Lenawee county for the Boy Scouts of America. He was also a member of the Adrian Elks Lodge.
He is survived by his wife Fern Darlene Chrzan , his children, Phillip T. (Penny) Chrzan and Tammy Nink, his grandchildren, Heather Donnelly, Alexandra Chrzan and Christopher Chrzan, and seven brothers and sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. Also surviving are step-sons; Joe Hager, Scott Sharp, Brad Sharp and Brian Sharp and several step grandchildren.
No funeral services will be held and burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Vernon MI.

I am so sorry to hear that Phil passed. I think often about the good times at the Ries's Home the laughter and the music. Phil sure didn't like that German Shepard of Jack's.
