We were deeply saddened to learn of Marcia's passing. She was a very good friend of my mother, Esther Wise, particularly this last decade. Her warmth, kindness, and sense of humor brightened many days for my mother. And, we always looked forward to visiting Marcia, too, whenever we were in Greenville. Your entire family is in our thoughts and prayers.

Aunt Marcia was a beautiful lady, inside and out. When we were kids, we looked forward to the summers when we'd leave the "city" of Holt and go to the country outside Cedar Springs for a week, and play in the creek and just be crazy kids. Aunt Marcia, uncle Carroll, and their 3 kids, Jeanne, Jan, and Herb, were the best hosts; they still are the best!

Marcia was a very good friend to my Grandmother Esther Wise. They had apartments right next to each other for 3 years or so. She would treat me and my kids like we were family, she was a special lady and we will miss her.

I am so, so sorry for the loss of your mother. She was such a warm-hearted person and I always felt welcomed and loved in her presence. I'm certain that she touched many, many lives as she did mine. It was such an honor and pleasure to know her. We've all been blessed by her life, especially you, her children and grandchildren. God bless you. You're in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs, Robbi

Our mother was the lovliest of ladies. She was never unkind or harsh and could find some good in everyone she met. She loved her family and friends and took a genuine interst in their lives. For those of you who are unaware, recently, mom suffered from Alzheimer's disease. It stole a good deal of her mind and memory away from her, but she never lost her smile. I find peace in the fact that her mind is now at ease and that she will go to be with those she loved and who loved her who have passed before. She will be met with open arms!

Aunt Marcia, your smile lives on in my heart And your spirit remains in my soul You lived in the light and you shared so much love As you welcomed each challenge and goal. And so I will miss you, and think of you still When the breeze wafts across the green plain. This earth mourns your passing, aware of its loss As the heavens rejoice in their gain. Love Forever, Marcia Anne
