Sigurd Conrad Harris age 82 of Baldwin MI formerly of Greenville died Sunday July 15 2012 in Greenville. He was born in Sparta, Michigan on August 26, 1929 the son of William and Beatrice Best Harris. He was retired from Electrolux in Greenville with over 26 years of service and after retirement did welding in the Baldwin area. He was a member to the AMVETs, the VFW in Baldwin and the Barrski Club of Baldwin. He loved to travel and go camping with his family.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Connie Sue Shoen on August 26, 2008 and also his brothers, Gerald, Garald, William and his sisters Lisa and Arita.
He is survived by his friend, Joan Cazier, his children, Theresa (Ed) Stokley of Gowen, Bill (Jacque) Harris, Jerry (Gay) Harris and Keitha Harris all of Greenville, his grandchildren; Robert (Patty) Harris, Jay (Jada) Tabor, Jessica Harris, Jason Bush (Adriane Shoen), Joshua Harris, Tara (James) Ingersoll, Aaron Harris, Kylee Harris, Julia Keener, Sarah Harris, Billy Jack Harris, Wes Shoen and Shawn (Tasha) Shoen, 19 great grandchildren, his siblings; Phil (Donna) Harris, Al Harris both of Greenville, Tim (Roxanne) Harris of Utah, Mike (Shirley) Harris of Florida, Leslie (Harmon) Hoffman of Midland, Ron (Pat) Harris of Tennessee and Mindy (Mike) Latimen of Colorado and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial service will be held on Thursday July 19, 2012 at 1 PM from the Hurst Funeral Home with Rev. William Overton of Family Life Center Church of God of Belding as officiant. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Belding. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice or The American Cancer Society for research
