Dennis Aaron LondonDennis Aaron London age 63 of Stanton formerly of Bass Lake, Gowen passed away peacefully at his deer camp in Mecosta County. He was born in Lakeview on November 25, 1948 the son of Glenn and Martha Stine London. He graduated from Greenville High School with the class of 1966 and had worked as a mechanic in the automotive field for many years and then in the Tool and Die trade retiring from Whites Bridge Tooling. He enjoyed hunting and fishing especially with his family He married Beverly A. Rowe on September 18, 1976.

While only a small boy his father preceded him in death in 1952 and a year later his oldest brother, Gale G.Skip, died in a bicycle accident in 1953. His mother Martha and his step-father L.G.Calhoun preceded him in death in 1991 and his brother Ronald L. died in 1999.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Beverly, his sons Glen (Cindy) London and Brad London both of Greenville, and daughters, Tammy S. Klepper (Joe Pellegrom), Wendy (Scott) McCullough of Bozeman Montana and Cindy (Marc) Hillman of Stanton, grandchildren, Erica, Kaleb, Jenna, Jodi, Caden, Aunica and Alexis and great grandchildren Aubrey and Chace, his brother Lynn (Susan) Calhoun of Grand Rapids, sisters Sherry Hunsicker of Wisconsin and Lavera (Denny) Griffis of Roscommon and nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday October 4 from 5  7 PM with funeral services at 7 PM at Hurst Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Harger officiating.

A private family burial will be held later at the Martiny Cemetery,Mecosta County. Memorial contributions may be given to Michigan Outdoor Heritage Foundation 6260 119th Ave Fennville, MI 49408

I'm so sorry to hear of Denny passing so young. My husband has spent much time at their family deer camp in the U.P. And when I told him the news he said "I'm sorry for the family I want to go like that too." I hope it comforts you to know that he passed peacefully in a place he enjoyed.

We sure enjoyed the times we did get to spend with Denny. He always seemed to be a kind thoughtful and caring man. Verna and I want all those that loved Denny to know how much we are thinking of you. Yes he will be missed but his memory will live on. All of us are a little bit better for knowing him.

I remember how funny he was when we were little and visited Aunt Martha and Uncle LG. I was 6 years younger and really looked up to him and Ron, but I remember him being such a cutup and making me laugh! Wish we had been closer as adults. I am so sorry for your loss.
