Robert Burt Arntz, age 87 of Greenville, died Christmas day, December 25, 2012 at Our Place Cares. He was born June 16, 1925 in Greenville, the son of Burt and Margaret (McHattie) Arntz. He married Margaret Lyons on October 28, 1943. Mr. Arntz served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. He is survived by his children, Robert Arntz of Grand Rapids, Betsy (Glen) Irish of Greenville, and Becky Black of Greenville; grandchildren, Bill Arntz, Nick (Tammy) Irish, Tammy Hill, Larry Arntz, Chris (Brenda) Black, and Caryn (Lonnie) Kirby; several great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and sister, Elinor Stanton. He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Margaret, on April 16, 2011; brother, Roy Arntz; and sister, Virginia Hunt. No public services will be held, and private burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Langston.
