Dear Family and Friends of Jay, I remember Jay very well. Jay ran in High School with a great bunch of guys. [I am in Fl for 3 mo.and don't have my year book ir I would name them] I was friends with 12 gals and sometimes we would have a get together with the boys. We were all good friends. Not sure what those guys did when they had a pary but the girls were pretty tame. I knew he lived a difficult life with many problems. I understand the loss of a son or brother. My son Dan died at age 36 in 1998 after many years of drug addiction. As a mother I had grieved for him many years so my grief was different from others. I knew that now he was at peace and that I will see him in heaven someday. Many years of studying God's word helped me through the difficult days and night. I found a scripture in I Peter 5:10 that gave me hope and comfort. "And the God of all grace who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore yoou and make you strong, firm and steadfast." I know this to be true. God taught me many things so "I can comfort others as God comforted me" I hope the above words will give you peace. We can trust that "He will never leave you or forsake you." Bonnie, Rita wrote to me about Jay and shared that your brother Bill was recovering from a stroke. I will be praying for both of you and all who loved Jay. In Christian love with blessings, Jane Schallert Campbell

I was sorry to read of the passing of Jay. Years ago in high school, most of the girls thought Jay was the best looking guy in high school, and a very nice guy too. Bless the family.
