Your mom was a wonderful mom. I remember when she first called me and asked me to come clean for her. I was surprised that she asked someone she didn't know that well. Every time I would go to clean for her she had such a good spirit even when she was hurting. I will really miss her alot and I am thankful for the time I had to share with her.

Dan.... I don't recall ever meeting your Mom, but I share in your loss. I lost mine in Oct. 2011. A mother is truly one of a kind and a gift from God.

Although I didn't know Mrs. Brice, I wish to send the family my deepest condolences. I know losing someone death is a painful experience. Yet, there's something that I look forward to with confidence and brings me much comfort, and I'd like to share this with you. It's natural to want to see our dead loved ones again. The Bible actually promises such a thing is possible in the near future. Jesus performed several resurrections of dead persons while on earth, and he will do so again on a much larger scaled in the near future. Notice the promise found at John 5:28, 29: "Do not marvel at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." Yes, soon you will be able to welcome Florence back to better conditions in a peaceful new paradise earth. What an exciting time that will be! The Bible's hope is very comforting. Understandably this is still a difficult time to deal with. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Again, deepest sympathies.

Thank you to everyone who has shown their love during this time. How do we put into words the love and care that Mom has given us? I will miss the morning coffee, enjoying the sunrises and sunsets, watching birds together, just calling on a regular morning day to just say hi. She was always there for all her family, especially her Grandchildren, but also even to strangers. If there was a need she would try to fill it. Mom loved to travel, going from coast to coast in a travel trailer. She and Don had visited Europe and South America. Mom was also an avid reader and writer and had published several of her poems. Her faith, love and giving will always be a part of my life.
