To the Hubbs Family, "Aunt" Jean will be remembered for her kind and caring ways. I remember summer days at the cottage where she and Dale would treat us to lots of fun and fishing, not to mention the good food. I remember her contagious laugh which always made me feel so much better. She raised a wonderful family and I have been blessed to have her share a small part of her life with me.

We were the awsome six cousins when we spent our summers with Grandpa and Grandma Strain in Grand Rapids. Slowly five of the gang have served their days here on earth and now each of the five cousins rest in the arms of their Lord. Jean I know you are now walking down the fairway with Dale. God Bless and may we all met once again in the chapel in the sky. Harold Strain

Jean will be missed. After Pam passed away Jean and I spent a lot of time talking, going to lunch and keeping her house is shape. I would stop at least three times a week to check on her and talk about what the Dodd grandchildren and great grandchildren were up to. I would like to thank the Dancing with the Stars group that spent every Monday night at her house enjoying each others company. She cherished those Mondays and loved to watch Eric dance. Thanks to Christine Dodd, Sue and John Hoppough, Maureen and Dean Dodd and Connie Turnbull for bringing laugher into her house. The group also made sure she was invited to any get together we had which was quit often. Jean spoke of how much it meant to her and she would not know what to do if it wasn't for the Monday night crew and her bridge club keeping her busy. She is at peace.

Judy, I am so sorry to hear of Jean's passing. She was a dear friend to my mom Elizabeth and we loved lunching with her on our trips to and from Alabama. She was there for me when mom passed three years ago. She and Dale were such good friends with Burt and Betty; I bet the four of them are looking down on us and smiling.
