Dorothy Esther Yeomans Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1919 - 2013 Dorothy E. Yeomans age 93 of Greenville passed away Sunday February 10, 2013 at Spectrum Health United Memorial Nursing and Rehab Center after a brief illness. She was born in Remus MI on October 20 1919 the daughter of William and Minnie (Wood) Taylor. She was married on July 1, 1938 to Earl G. Yeomans. She and Earl enjoyed traveling and fishing with the family and she had been a Girl Scout Leader in Greenville. Her husband preceded her in death on August 8,1988 and her grandson Darwin Yeomans preceded her in 2012. Also her 5 brothers and 3 sisters preceded her in death. Surviving are her daughter Connie (Marvin) Petersen of Stanton, her son, Philip (Flip) (Carol Hagadus) Yeomans of Greenville, grandchildren, Becky (Ken) Ravell, Curt (Dana) Petersen, Steve Yeomans and Sherry Peters, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild and nieces and nephews. Family graveside services will be held in the spring at Rest Haven Memory Gardens in Belding. Memorial contributions are suggested to Spectrum Health United Memorial Rehab and Nursing Center Activity Fund, 615 S. Bower St. Greenville, MI 48838.

Connie and family, I am so sorry to hear of Dororthys passing. I have many, many good memories of her. Especially her homemade popcorn balls. She will be missed greatly.
