I was shocked and saddened to see in The Daily News today that Trish had passed away. I have known Trish for years, we first met when I worked at the hospital years ago and I have talked to her at least weekly for as long as I can remember when I have called the hospital for my current job. Trish was the kindest person. She always answered the phone with a smile on her face, you could tell, it was evident in her voice. I am going to miss her answering the phone at the hospital and I will miss our quick, but nice conversations. Prayers to your family, such a loss. :(

Patricia Trish Mary Popma age 64 of Greenville passed away suddenly at Spectrum Health United Memorial Emergency Room Greenville. She was born in Grand Rapids on April 20, 1948 the daughter of Arthur and Doris E. (Bush) Burr Jr. She was employed at Spectrum Health United Memorial in Greenville the past 20 years as information desk coordinator and was a long time member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church and the quilters of the church. She was always welcoming with her smile and her quiet friendly demeanor.
