1927 - 2013
Barbara Jean Fuller, of Greenville passed away Monday, March 4, 2013, comfortably and at peace with family at Masonic Pathways in Alma. A Memorial Service will be held at the First Congregational Church (126 E. Cass St., Greenville MI 48838) on Friday March 8, at 2:00 pm. A time for fellowship and gathering with family and friends will follow in the churchs Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the First Congregational Church of Greenville, American Diabetes Association or to your need of choice.
It is no secret that Barb loved her husband, her best friend and her soul mate: Gale, whom preceded her in death 9 years ago. It is also no secret that she loved (and was loved by) her family: Her son Kirk Fuller, his wife/her daughter-in-law Alison, their children/her grandkids: Jessica and John. Her daughter Sue (Fuller) Chamberlain (Sues husband/her son-in-law Paul Chamberlain), her grandkids Jeff and Jake Nolan, her step-grandsons Aaron and Jason Chamberlain, and her great-step-granddaughter Isabelle. She also loved her very close maternal family: her Father and Mother (Ronald and Betty Martin), her brothers and sisters, and their families: (brothers: Doug (and Edna) Martin, Bob (and Sue) Martin, sisters: June (and Paul) Turner, Pat (and Bill) Irish, Sandy Mead, and Joey (and Bob) Kotarak.
Barb, loved her faith in God and her Church, where she was a long time member, where she enjoyed teaching Sunday school and the fellowship of the Womens Circle. She loved her house and her home which she and Gale built, and where they raised a loving family. She loved to plant flowers in the spring near her beloved patio. She loved family visits. She loved her many friends. She loved her home town of Greenville. She loved to laugh. She loved life.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the many of you for your very kind and lasting support. She is now, after several years of declining health, at peace, making an angel somewhere laugh. The familys wish is for those which read this, whether you may know Barb or not, to ---- stop, pause ---- in person, by phone, or by text ---- take the opportunity to remind someone close to you that you love them ---- it feels great.
Mom, Grandma we will all miss your physical presence your good nature the way you made us laugh (although youve left us plenty of material) ---- BUT, rest assured you will remain alive within us all, and most importantly rest assured knowing that YOU ARE LOVED!!

Barb and Gale were a very special couple who were always so kind and caring to us when we were a newly married couple at First Congregational Church. Barb always had a smile and encouraging word and I remember Gale's remarkably blue eyes. I think of them often at church and miss their kind presence there yet it is comforting to know they are reunited. Our thoughts and prayers to you and your families.

Sue, Kirk, and families, what great memories your mom gave us! My high school years were filled with laughter and so much joy for the time I spent at your house. I would love to see her in heaven and the beauty she brings!!! The angels were dancing in Monday when they ushered her home.

Barb and Gale were among my closest friends. Her wit, her wisdom, and her caring devotion to her husband and family will be the lasting hallmarks of my memory. I knew her as a devoted Christian and a faithful member of the Congregational Church. She was a totally delightful woman who set the bar of caring far higher than most. To you, her family, I extend my most heartfelt sympathy. I feel a mix of sorrow in her passing, but abiding gladness in the fact Gale and his beloved Barb are now reunited.

Kirk, Sue and family. What a special beautiful lady heaven has gained. Words cannot express how we loved you're Mom and will miss her. She loved her family, her neighborhood and community so much, and we loved her. She was such a great asset to the neighborhood, no need for 2 car families in our day....always a cup of sugar, an egg, a band-aid to share. They were always returned with a bonus like fresh baked cookies. Barb had such a great sense of humor and she loved having a special husband to share her life with. Gale and Barb were so proud of their family and so happy they could raise them in the community they loved. Barb made our lives on Grove Street happier and richer for so many years. She will be missed and remembered always. Blessing to you all at this time. Love, Swartz's Ken, Iva Mae, and Pam

Kirk, Sue and families: I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. She was always so much fun, and I can't tell you how much those summers in Greenville meant to me! I remember her always laughing, even when her peanut butter pie landed upside down on the floor! You're all in my prayers; she will be missed.
