1921 - 2013
Our mother and best friend, Florence VanSickle, joined her Saviour in heaven on Sunday, March 10, 2013. Flo was a member of the Greenville First United Methodist Church, and she supported their radio ministry and community outreach. She joins her husband, Don, in heaven. Flo is also survived by five children, Wayne (Carol) VanSickle of Almont, Linda of Greenville, Joyce of Belding, Sue (Mark) Sova of Lowell, and Nancy (Walt) Asdell of Arizona; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Our mother taught us so much- kindness, compassion, and how to laugh at ourselves. She always put others ahead of herself, sharing accomplishments and listening to our problems. She truly loved her family and we adored her. We love you G.W.!, Dahling! Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at the Greenville First United Methodist Church. Flo's pastor, Rev. Steve Charnley, will serve as officiant. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Michigan.

Sue and family, deeply sorry for your loss. Your mom helped fill the void of my mom when I lost her four three years ago...even though I never met her in person, I felt like she was my mom. Florence will remain in my heart and memory always as my second strong mom! My you all cherish the memories she had shared withh all!

Florence was like a Mother to me, with her wisdom and concern for day to day happenings. Mrs. Van Sickle was a special Lady. Our conversations on the phone were fantastic. It was if the day was not complete without the conversation on the phone.
She will be missed by us. We became closer to her Family because they were never left out of the conversation.
Our prayers are with the Ladies she left behind. We wish them all our best wishes.
