1942 - 2013
 Charles Sylvester "Chuck" Winright, age 70 of Greenville, passed away Wednesday morning, March 27, 2013 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids. Chuck was born December 16, 1942, the son of Lavern and Louise (Ockert) Winright. He worked for General Motors in Lansing, retiring in 1995 after 30 years of employment. Later, he worked at Printco/Vertis for several years. Chuck was an outdoorsman, and enjoyed fishing and camping at Fletcher Pond in Alpena. He was a very talented woodworker who crafted many special gifts for family and friends. He enjoyed hunting, and would make his own fishing and hunting implements. He loved to visit with family and friends, and will be deeply missed, especially by his wife, Rose Marie (Lepley) Winright; children, Randall "Randy" (Lynda) Winright, Mark Winright, Charles "Stewart" (Dana) Winright, and Robin Winright; their mother, Sandra; grandchildren, Tiffany, Daniel, Amanda, Gabrielle, and Matthew; siblings, Doris (Daniel) Riley, Flora "Jean" Caroll, Vivian, Hervey, Rosie, Wilma, and Crystal; step-children, Carmalene (Barry) Broomfield Slentz, Patricia "Hoot" Broomfield, Rose (Alan) Broomfield Magnuson, and LeRoy Fuller III; many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Ann Winright, Betty (Duane) Ryan, and Madeline "Mad" Hopkins; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Noah Winright; brother, Walter Winright; sister, Virginia "Ginger" Emmons; and brothers-in-law, Floyd Emmons and Deryl Carroll. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 30, 2013 at the First Congregational Church of Greenville with the Rev. Dr. Jerrold T. Jones officiating. A luncheon and time of fellowship will follow in the church fellowship hall. Visitation will be Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Hurst Funeral Home. Private burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery, Greenville. Memorial contributions may be given to the First Congregational Church.
