Mr. Stuart Wesley Jensen, age 57, passed away Thursday evening, April 18, 2013 at his home in Edmore. He was born August 7, 1955 in Alma, the son of Dale and Elizabeth (Boyer) Jensen. Stu was a longtime Edmore area farmer, and enjoyed playing golf and hunting. He is survived by his loving wife, Esmeralda; children, Jennifer Jensen of Boston, Sarah Jensen of Boston, Allen Andersen of Edmore, and Erica (Lance) Walker of Hawaii; precious grandchildren, Rachel and Shawn; mother, Elizabeth Jensen of Edmore; brothers, Larry (Sherry) Jensen of Blanchard, Gregory (Jane) Jensen of Edmore, and Brian (Kim) Jensen of McBride; sister-in-law, Tina Jensen of Blanchard; nieces and nephews, Nicole, April, Steven, Kerri, Brian, Ben, Makenna, and Nathan; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Dale Jensen and his brother, Bradley Jensen. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Edmore, with visitation Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at church. Rev. Aaron I. Sorrels will serve as officiant. Interment will be in Vinewood Cemetery, Edmore. Memorial contributions may be given to the Make-A-Wish Foundation or Our Savior's Lutheran Church.
