Dale A. Billiau Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1929 - 2013 Dale Alexander Billiau, age 83 of Six Lakes, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Masonic Pathways in Alma. He was born August 11, 1929 in Petoskey, the son of Herman and Georgia (Detwiller) Billiau. Dale was a proud veteran, having served his country in the United States Navy, and was a member of the VFW Post 1454 in Alma. He was also a member of the Moose Lodge. He retired from General Motors after 31 years of employment. He enjoyed dancing and playing cards. Dale is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy Billiau of Six Lakes; children, Dennis (Lucy) Billiau of Alma, Kathy Muscott of St. Louis, and Lori (Neil) Frandsen of Minneapolis, MN; step-daughter, Debbie (Curtis) Curtis of Texas; several grandchildren; brother, Dean (Gwen) Billiau; and sister, Karen Rubensen. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Edmore, with visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the memorial service. The Rev. Aaron I. Sorrels will serve as officiant. Memorial contributions may be given to Our Savior's Lutheran Church.
