Fridays after work he would make the extra trip to our house and pick me up so I could spend time with Kathy. He loved his kids. I in my shyness never said much until we got to the house, then Kathy and I would play trolls after dinner uninterupted until it was time for ice cream. Either a trip to Sanders or just at the kitchen table I will always remember his smile over ice cream. He was a gentle and kind man.
