 Lou Ella Schippers, age 65 of Greenville, died Monday, September 9, 2013 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus. She was born August 31, 1948. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed playing cards and board games. Lou Ella is survived by her son, Mark (Melissa) Schippers of Cedar Springs; grandson, Brendon Schippers; sister, Pamela (Don) Smith of Eagle; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Hurst Funeral Home, Greenville, with Rev. Robert Eckert of Courtland-Oakfield United Methodist Church officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, and private burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be given to the Greenville Area Ecumenical Food Mission or to the American Diabetes Association. |
