1925 - 2013
Janet Miller age 88 of Stanton formerly of Greenville went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday September 12,2013 at Laura's Loving Acres, Stanton. She was born in West Virginia July 2, 1925. She married Kenneth A. Miller in 1948 and he preceded her in death in 1994.
She was a dedicated member of Liberty Baptist Church where she volunteered folding the Gospel tracts for distribution. She was happy with doing the work of the church and appreciated their support during her declining health.
She is survived by her son Steven (Connie) Miller of Greenville, her granddaughter Christy ( Ed) Byrne of Belding, great grandchildren, Christopher Denham and Brooke Denham and her sister-in-law Ruth Miller of Grand Rapids.
Along with her husband, she was also preceded in death by her sisters Mary and Lilly and brother Mac.
Funeral services will be held on Monday September 16,2013 at 2 PM from Hurst Funeral Home with her pastor, Mike Austin officiating. Burial will be in East Montcalm Cemetery, Greenville. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions are suggested to Liberty Baptist Church or Ionia Area Hospice.

To Steve and your family I am your mother's cousin my father was Dr. Sherman Lilly. Your mom was a very kind person and it was honor to have her as a cousin. My husband Rich and I are in San Diego CA visiting with your cousin Christa ( Maxine's daughter ) and will not be back to attend the funeral. We are very sorry for the loss of your mom and are thinking of you and your family.

We felt so sad to see the notice in the paper of your Mom's death. We thought very highly of her. So many memories of her and your father. They were great people and their love for the Lord was so evident in their lives.
