Elinor L. Bill age 89 of Greenville formerly of Kalamazoo passed away Monday December 23, 2013 at home. She was born in Watervliet, Michigan on May 13, 1924 the daughter of Arthur and Nina (Conklin) Helmer and was a graduate of Kalamazoo Central High School and attended Western Michigan College (WMU). She retired from the former Upjohn Company with many years of service. She was a member over 50 years of Trinity Lutheran Church in Kalamazoo and enjoyed serving on the Food Pantry. After moving to Greenville she was a member of Faith Lutheran Church Sidney MI.
She was married on June 22, 1943 to Calvin G. Bill and he preceded her in death on October 7,1999. Also preceding her in death were her sisters Kathryn Mazurek and Joy DeMink.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Errol Moerdyk of Dickerson Lake Stanton, her grandchildren; Wyatt and Laura Moerdyk and family; Caleb, Moriah, Noelle, Raquel and Jessie and Wayne and Mary Moerdyk and family; Adriana and Olivia and also her nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday January 10, 2014 at 1 PM from the chapel of Mt. Ever Rest Memorial Cemetery, Kalamazoo with Rev. Ken Johnson of Trinity Lutheran Church as officiant.
