Alice and family There are so many memories with our families. When we were in school, it seemed like Del was just a part of our family, he was like a brother to Ron and Gerald. I am so glad the three of us could take that trip to Alaska, what a fun time. Thinking of you every day and your loss.

As I grew up and as I've grow as a person I find myself "listening" to what I heard from a man who I am grateful to have known. I try to live up to the standards he encouraged. He was a father figure,a mentor ,a roll model, and a friend. When I think of a strong man,an honorable man,and a compassionate man,he was the standard one should strive to live up to. I am blessed to have known him and even more blessed, for he took the time to know me. May he rest in peace.

We came to know of Del's love of siblings, parents, grandparents, uncles and aunts, and then his children and grand children. He also had a special love and respect for grandparents Fred and Bessie. He also enjoyed a very close relationship with uncle Bob, aunt Marion, and Alice's brother's and sisters and mother. In addition to high school sports, and then adult softball, Del loved to deer hunt and fish in his father's footsteps. His love for farming didn't seem to be like work for him, but more like an interesting hobby.
Did i fail to mention Del's love in a vigorous heartfelt fun game of euchre, especially if it included Gram-pa Fred, Uncle Bob and Brother John?
In recent years he spent many enjoyable outings at Maston Lake with the hospitality of Fred and Phil, many catches of Bluegills and a giant 22" Smallmouth Bass.
We know that he missed Brother John very much.
We also know and are very glad that Del lived a Full Life and that he never lost his love for his relatives, many friends and the Trufant area !!!!
