I m so sorry for your loss. The Bible gives us a hope of a resurrection, this is a provision from Jehovah God showing his undeserved kindness. In Gods new world, :No resident will say: I m sick and pain will be no more---Isaiah 33:24 and Revelation 21:1-4.

Just now found out about my dear cousin Wanda. Many fond memories of our times together as children warm my heart. It was such a blessing to see her two years ago in Illinois at a family gathering. Blessings and love to her children and all of the family.

I was stunned to read in Saturdays' paper of LaWandas' passing My compassion go to her family and friends. She was a good friend to me in the Foster grand parent program. I will miss her.

"Grandma Wanda" was loved by so many of us at Cedar Crest. We appreciate all her time there helping the children. We will miss her spunky personality. Praying for peace and comfort for her family.

Becky, Jennifer. I am so sorry for your loss. Wanda was a special person and meant the world to me. When we could not get enough of her at the office.....we went bowling to see her again! She talked about you and your children all the time.....she was a great mom and grandma. You took wonderful care of her. My sincere, deepest condolences to you all.

LaWanda L. Hall, age 75 of Greenville, died early Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at the Laurels of Carson City. She was born July 19, 1938 in Hoopeston, IL. LaWanda worked at Greenville Lanes for many years. She was a foster grandparent for EightCAP, and attended Shiloh Community Church. She is survived by her children, Becky (Ray) Mortensen of Vestaburg, John (Pam) Burns of Arkansas, Jennifer Shutts of Greenville, and Joe (Carrie) Burns of Stanton; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Sue Kloostra of Grand Rapids; brothers, Mike (Nancy) DeVore of Gowen and Louis (Jo) DeVore of Six Lakes; sisters, Sandy (Shayne) Smith of Lakeview and Andrea King of Eaton Rapids; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father; her father; two brothers; and a son, Martin Kloostra. Memorial services will be held at 2:30 PM Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Hurst Funeral Home, Greenville, with visitation from 1:30 to 2:30 prior to the service. Rev. Ken Harger will serve as officiant. Private inurnment will be in Ferris Center Cemetery, Vestaburg. Memorial contributions may be given to Shiloh Community Church.
