It is very unfortunate to have just learned about my father-in-law's passing just yesterday (July 1). In fact, none of his children by marriage are even mentioned within the obituary, and no notification efforts were ever made to contact any of his birth children, by marriage to Mary Dykhouse, about his death. Yes, there were bitter feelings that were begrudged against him for his decision relating to family matters, the lack of notification of his death denied all of his "other" children, grandchildren, in-laws and friends the choice of attending (or not) his funeral and paying homage to him. This was a concious decision made by the VonKronenberger or relation thereof to exclude his legitimate family. I and others related to the Dykhouse family are appalled at this decision to exclude. It is purely shameful to pretend that no other relations existed. I only speak for myself and my wife, Mary (Dykhouse) Reamer.
