1931 - 2014
 Jacqueline Peggy Tower, age 82 of Gowen, died Saturday, May 10, 2014 at her son's home in White Cloud. She was born September 17, 1931 in Gowen, the daughter of Alvin and Vivian (Mosher) Thomas. She retired from Federal Mogul. She enjoyed collecting cookie jars and gardening. She loved her cats and all animals. She was the greatest mom ever, and will be deeply missed, especially by her daughter, Carolyn (Thomas) Pentoney of Gowen,sons,Samuel (Sherrie) Tower of Comstock Park, and Donald (Sheila) Moran of White Cloud; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brothers, Kenneth (Kay) Thomas of Greenville, Ernest (Janet) Thomas of Belding, and Wayne (Joyce) Thomas of Gowen; sister, Patricia (Jerry) Closson of Gowen; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Milton Tower; son, Joseph Tower, and grandson, Donald Moran, Jr. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Hurst Funeral Home, Greenville, with Rev. Dr. Jerrold T. Jones of the First Congregational Church of Greenville officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Interment will be in Oakfield Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer's Association or a charity of one's choice.
