Ethel Adeline Davis age 96 of Bishop Hills, Rockford passed away May 23, 2014 at Spectrum Health United Memorial Greenville. She was born in Richmond Township, Osceola County, Michigan on June 13, 1917 the daughter of Osmer and Stella (Lehmoine) Ruppert. She was formerly a resident of Sand Lake and Bostwick Lake and had resided in Florida for several years prior to moving into Bishop Hills Elder Care Community.
She was preceded in death by her husband Leonard Davis in 1991 and her son Norman J. Rydzeski in 2014 and her sisters and brothers Leonard, Mary, Beatrice and Victor.
She is survived by her son Kenneth W. (Mary) Rydzeski of Banks Lake, Gowen, daughter in law Helen Rydzeski of Florida, grandchildren; Dennis Rydzeski, Leonard Bruce Rydzeski, Sheila Harris, Susan (Jim ) Harriman, Laurie (Ron) Dick, Cynthia (Tim) Craft, Amanda (Jason) Lodholtz, several great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held on her birthday June 13, 2014 at 1:00 PM from Hurst Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Keikintveld officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 PM prior to the services.
