Donna Arlene Kent age 83 of Greenville passed away Wednesday August 20, 2014 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus Grand Rapids. She was born in Ashley Michigan on July 29,1931 the daughter of Russell W. and Blanche B. (Beard) Hubbard. She was married in Stanton MI on May 6 1947 to Orville A. Kent. They lived in the Greenville area for many years and then in Florida for 24 years before returning to Greenville. They had attended Liberty Baptist Church in Greenville.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, William Grover Higgins, son-in-law, Grover Higgins, brothers Darrell, Russell Jr., and Donald Hubbard.
She is survived by her husband Orville and their children, Dale (Sharon) Kent of Angola IN, Clark (Catherine) Kent of Columbus, OH, Sally Higgins of Arcanum OH and Deanna Whitehead of Greenville, 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson her brother, Jerre Hubbard of Kalamazoo, Orvilles family, Norman Kent and Elnora (Robert) Arnsby both of Greenville and Arley Jr. (Mabel) Kent of Coral and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday August 23, 2014 at 11 AM from Hurst Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Austin of Liberty Baptist Church officiating with burial in Oakfield Cemetery, Greenville.
Visitation will be from 10 AM to 11 AM on Saturday. Memorial contributions may be given to Liberty Baptist Church
