I was one of Mrs. McKindley's 3rd grade students--class of 1970-71 at South. She was such a warm, kind, and caring woman. I just loved her. She was a wonderful teacher. We are all better people having had her as a teacher. I am so sorry for your loss.

My thoughts and prayers are with the McKindley and Mulcahy families.
I have typed more, but keep erasing my words because I cannot find the right words to express what Mrs. McKindley meant to my family. She was like a grandmother to me and I will always remember her.
David Colvin.
