David Thomas Jeanette, Sr., 61 of Entrican, died Tuesday evening, October 21, 2014 at Spectrum Health United Memorial Kelsey Campus in Lakeview. He was born September 16, 1953 in Kalamazoo, the son of Thomas and Shirley (Thompson) Jeanette. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, and will be missed, especially by his children, Christina OBryan, Davina Gibbons, and David Jeanette, Jr., all of Greenville; grandchildren, Kyle, Jordan, Maddy, Caleb, Faith, and Lonnie; siblings, George (Bobbie) Jeanette, Floyd Thompson, Jeff (Sara) Jeanette, Linda Raymond, and Yvonne Simmons; and step-children, Barry Fitzgerald, Tina Peiffer, Kevin Fitzgerald. He was preceded in death by his parents and a step-son, David Fitzgerald. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Hurst Funeral Home, Greenville, with visitation from 2:00 to 3:00 PM prior to the funeral. Private interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Entrican. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a memorial contribution are asked to consider the needs of the family.
