Aric James "AJ" Pitchford, age 22 of Royal Palm Beach, FL, passed away suddenly Friday, May 1, 2015 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Aric was born Friday, May 29, 1992 in Sheridan, MI, the son of Lucas and Veronica (Wall) Pitchford. He graduated from Greenville High School, class of 2010. He went on to graduate with honors from Lincoln College of Technology in 2012, earning an Associate of Applied Science degree from their Master Certified Diesel and Truck Service Management program. He is survived by his parents, Veronica Pitchford of Greenville and Lucas and Anna Pitchford of Royal Palm Beach, FL; grandparents, Judith and Dale White and Gerald and Rhonda Wall; great-grandparents, June Hankins, and Harva Raby; siblings, Tristin and Thoryn Petersen and Steve, Daniel, and Jeremy Martin; aunts and uncles, Aric and Sandra Pitchford, Kristin and Kevin Wadkins, Jeri and Mark Fare, and Charles and Tammy Wall; nephew, Eric James Martin; and cousins, Kynsee Lynn Wadkins, Alex Fare, Samantha Fare, Jeremy Baker, and Skyler, Brendan, and Baylee Wall. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, David “Tom” Pitchford and great-grandparents, Walter and Crystal Pitchford, Leonard Hankins, Manuel Raby, and Charles “Jack” and Arlene Wall. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Hurst Funeral Home, with visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the funeral. Rev. Ken Harger will serve as officiant. Interment will be in Forest Home Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Aric J. Pitchford Memorial Fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home, and contributions may also be made at any Huntington Bank.
