William “Bill” Andrew Callicoat, 78, Gallipolis, Ohio, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2003, in the Holzer Medical Center. He was born
April 9, 1924, in Gallia County son of the late Golden Edward Callicoat
and Elizabeth Mae Rayburn Callicoat. He was a retired Line Superintendent for Buckeye Rural Electric retiring following thiry-three years of service.
Bill was an U.S. Army veteran who served in Japan during WWII; a member of the American Legion Lafayette Post 27, Gallipolis; and a Life Member of VFW Post 4464, Gallipolis.
He is survived by his wife, Edith Jackson Callicoat, Gallipolis

Bill was preceded in death by his wife Alice Callicoat, November 12, 1997, four brothers and six sisters.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, March 18, 2003, in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, with
Pastor John Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the Ohio Valley Memorial Gardens. Full military graveside rites will be conducted by Gallia County Veterans Service Organizations.
Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Monday, 4:00 - 7:00 P.M..
