Evalyn Campbell, 83, Kettering, Ohio, and formerly of Harrisburg (Gallia County) Ohio passed away in Heartland of Kettering, Sunday, December 7, 2003,. She was a cook in the Fairland Local School District for fifteen years prior to her retirement in 1988 and was a member of the Harris Baptist Church, Harrisburg.
Evalyn was born June 17, 1920, in Alvin, WV, daughter of the late Bernis and Jessie Florence Reiter Hoover. She married Henry Leroy Campbell on November 28, 1942, in Covington, KY and he preceded her in death March 4, 1994. Also preceding her in death were a brother Wendell Hoover and a sister Ruby Garnet Meeks.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law:

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon, Wednesday, December 10, 2003, at the Harris Baptist Church, Harrisburg, with Rev. Ronnie Lemley officiating. Interment will be in the Rome Cemetery, Proctorville.
