Robert Darryl Laywell, 67, Bidwell, Ohio, passed away March 14, 2004, as a result of a farm accident. He was born in Gallia County, Ohio, on April 7, 1937, the son of the late David Edward Laywell Sr. and Dorothy Clagg Laywell.
He was a member of Carpenter Union Local 200 and worked in the Columbus, Ohio area for thirty-five years. He was an avid Harley enthusiastic and lifetime Hog Member.
He is survived by his wife of forty four years, Anita Huss Laywell and two sons: Robert Darryl Laywell Jr., Bidwell and Jeffrey (Rachael) Laywell, Circleville, Ohio.
Four Daughters: Susan (Rodney) Lyman, Marion, OH; Shellie Laywell, Frankfort, KY; Shelia Laywell, Chillicothe, OH; Sandra Laywell, Camden, OH.
Two Brothers: David (Maudine) Laywell Jr., Yellow Springs, OH; Dana (Lydia) Laywell, Bidwell, OH.
Two Sisters: Vivian (James) Schultz, Wesley Chapel, FL; Joanne Roush, Safety Harbor, FL.
Also surviving are 21 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews,and friends.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, 208 Main St., Vinton, Ohio 45686-0148 with Rev. Ronnie Lemley officiating. Burial will be in the Laywell Family Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
