Laura Mae Daniels, 77, Cheshire, Ohio, passed away in St. Mary's Hospital, Huntington, WV, Sunday April 25, 2004 following a brief illness.
She was born May 22, 1926, in Russell, KY and she survives with three sons and two daughters:

Six Grandchildren: Ronnie(Melissa) Daniels, Bumpass, VA; Tammi (John) Drummond, Thurman, OH; Kyle Mathews, Virginia Beach, VA; Paul David Daniels, Cheshire, OH; Natasha Daniels, Bidwell, OH; Derek Daniels, Cheshire, OH,
Three Great Grandchildren: Hunter, Jake and Courtney.
Three brothers and three sisters: William Ashworth, Hamlin, WV; Roy Ashworth, Hamlin, WV; Burl Baker, Myra, WV; Pearl Ashworth, Hamlin, WV; Ann Medcaff, Huntington, WV; Bessie Jeffers, Texas and a special family member, Thelma McKinney, Culloden, WV.
She was preceded in death by: two infant daughters, Donna Marie and Dixie Lee Daniels; two brothers, Percy Pelfrey and Johnny Ashworth; three sisters, Florence Rossener, Alberta Stratton and Mearl Ashworth.
Mrs Daniels was a member of the Riverview Baptist Church, Pt. Pleasant, WV.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM, Wednesday, April 28, 2004, in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, with Pastor Merle Wood officiating. Burial will follow in the Centenary Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
